About Scott Burleson

Scott Burleson is a product strategist, author, and Jobs-to-be-Done practitioner who helps teams turn customer understanding into better product decisions.

His work has moved across engineering, manufacturing, product management, software, voice-of-customer research, and product strategy. At John Deere, he led the product strategy for the 1-Series compact utility tractors, one of the company’s most successful product lines. Later, as a Director at the Strategyn Institute, he learned directly from Jobs-to-be-Done pioneer Tony Ulwick and applied Outcome-Driven Innovation across a range of industries.

Today, Scott serves as Chief Product Officer at The AIM Institute, where he develops innovation tools, teaches workshops, and advises B2B teams on how to grow by better understanding what customers are trying to accomplish.
